Please mark your calendars for the "Remembering the Struggle" Opening Events!

5pm to 6:30pm

Viernes Cultural | Watsonville Downtown Plaza
Participants will enjoy the music, song, and poetry of local performing artists as well as invited speakers  at this Community Remembrance Celebration. Viernes Cultural is a committee of individuals who organize cultural events in the Plaza on the first Friday of month, usually September through May.
 

6:30pm

Procession from Plaza to Gallery
Come join us for a sidewalk procession through Downtown Watsonville. Former strikers will lead the community procession starting at the Watsonville Plaza after the Viernes Cultural event. We will walk to the Pajaro Valley Gallery to enjoy the Exhibit Opening Reception of "Remembering the Struggle."
 

7pm to 9pm

Pajaro Valley Arts Council hosts the Exhibit Opening Reception | 37 Sudden Street, Watsonville, CA 95076
At the reception visitors will be able to view the newly installed artwork of "Remembering the Struggle." Participants will be able to meet and mingle with contributing artists and get a "taste of Watsonville" through local food and celebration.
